Users & Staff - Add Clinical Staff for Bond Visit

To add staff members who may not have email addresses:

In your practice account drop down, select “Settings”, and in the left panel select the "Users & Staff" tab.

Step 2: Add Clinical Staff

On the “Users & Staff tab” tab you have two (2) ways to add clinical staff members depending on if staff members need an account login or not:

  • Clinical Staff Users: require and email & password to login

  • Clinical Staff Non-User: no email required

Clinical Staff Users - require and email & password to login:

These instructions are for clinical staff users requiring an email and password login. LightForce Users labeled as Staff or Doctors will appear at the bottom of the clinicians list in the bond visits screen. Users labeled as treatment coordinators & billing coordinators will not appear as a bonder. Treatment coordinators and billing coordinators will not show on the clinician list. (see image for instructions)

  1. Navigate to the invitations tab

  2. Select invite new user

  3. Choose “staff” user and fill in the other required fields

  4. The staff member will receive an email to create a password for the account and appear in the users section of the User & Staff tab

Clinical Staff Non-User: no email required:

Additional clinical staff members without email addresses can be added to your practice. These staff members will not have their own username and password. Additional staff members are important to include in your practice to take advantage of features that require selection of a staff member who is working with planning and treatment of patients in your practice (such as LightPlan Bonding Visit selecting a clinician).

To add a staff member, click on the “Add Clinical Staff” button, and a pop-up will appear to enter the staff member's first and last name.

When you have entered the name, click “Add Clinical Staff” and the individual will appear in your Additional Clinical Staff section.

Each clinical staff member must have a unique name. If you have two individuals with the same first and last name, add in a middle initial, number or another way that each of them will uniquely identify themselves into the first or last name field. The option to edit the name of a staff member is available after they have been created.

If an individual leaves your practice you can remove the clinical staff member, by clicking on the remove link in the staff member’s row.

LightForce Account User Access to Bonding Visit

  1. LightForce Users labeled as Staff or Doctors will appear at the bottom of the bonders list.

  2. Users labeled as treatment coordinators & billing coordinators will not appear as a bonder.
