LightForce Debonding Techniques

This article includes the instructions on how to debond LightForce Brackets with the 'wire in' and the 'wire out' technique.

Take Note: For Breakaway base activation

It is important when positioning the plier on the bracket, to have the prongs even mesial-distal, before squeezing and activating. Be sure to position your plier so it is "straight on". If your plier is canted or positioned with uneven pressure the bracket will debond unevenly and may fracture.

Technique #1: Debonding with the wire in.

This technique includes debonding LightForce brackets with the arch wire and o-ties in the patients mouth.
